About Us
UnitedGamers is one of the biggest gaming clubs in North America. We were first born late in 2006. We are one of the few gaming organizations that are still running; we are fairly new to the scene and are still getting our name out there. UG strives to be known as one of the best organizations in North America. UG is currently playing at some of the highest levels and competing with various top teams and doing very good. Although we are still somewhat new we are slowly getting our name out there more and more as each day passes. Of course the goal of any organization is to compete at the highest and be the best which is our goal.
We at UnitedGamers love to cover as many games as possible such as CSS, CS, CZ, DOD, DOD:S, COD4, TF2, AA and Dota. We are a multi-gaming organization have numerous teams in a bunch of different games which will compete at a high level.
Competitive gaming has evolved so much over the past few years and more new leagues are being created. E-sports is becoming televised and many players are becoming professional. With all this happening UG is striving to turn our players into professionals and turn them into successful professionals down the road.
UnitedGamers was established in 2006 when Kevin Garcha and Keegan Devauld decided that they wanted to create a gaming club which is how the #UnitedGamers gaming club got started. At first all that they wanted was to make a large hangout for E-sports best. As the months progressed the community grew. Eventually we were at about 150 supporters strong.
After a few more months passed UG was receiving Servers from Velocity and vents from Nation Voice that were planning on using as publics for the community but since they just weren’t getting enough activity so we turned everything we had into privates and thus creating the UGamers gaming organization. At the start it was tough as neither Keegan nor Kevin had much experience managing an organization. With multiple titles under its belt, United Gamers is always striving for perfection. Several of our teams have been in the top their respected divisions, regardless if it's CAL or CEVO. UnitedGamers has grown into much more than we first envisioned it and we will continue to help it grow and become among E-sports best. This is now much more than a community. It's grown into a large family of gamers & friends. |
